Job Summary

Job Summary

The San Diego County Office of Education is recruiting for a Senior Manager, Peoplesoft Support for the Integrated Technology Services Department. Under administrative direction, the Senior Manager, PeopleSoft Support, plans, organizes, and supervises the help desk support for the computerized business systems for the San Diego County Office of Education (SDCOE), serves as a liaison for participating school districts using SDCOE’s ERP system, and supervises professional and technical staff in assigned areas. The San Diego County Office of Education assists those who lead, manage, and use technology to shape strategic decisions at every level within K-12 education. We actively engage with superintendents, chief technology officers, technology directors, and technology teacher leaders to further the mission of transforming technology's role in K-12 education. Our technology programs, strategies, and solutions address a spectrum of opportunities and challenges: teaching and learning, cybersecurity, professional learning, advocacy, research, data analytics, enterprise systems, connectivity, video production, identity management, and much more.

Requirements / Qualifications

This position requires a combination of education and experience equivalent to a bachelor's degree in information technology, systems engineering, technology management, or related field, and Five (5) years of experience in managing complex, computerized business systems projects. Experience must include management–level responsibility for an organization-wide implementation and change management of an enterprise resource planning (ERP) system from requirements determined through system implementation.
