Job Summary

Under the general supervision of the Director of Information Technology, the Data Systems Analyst is responsible for supporting the school district's data infrastructure by analyzing data, identifying data integrity issues, and enhancing data systems processes to facilitate efficient and accurate reporting and decision-making processes. Performs a variety of technical and analytical functions within the district’s information systems, such as the student information system, library and inventory management system, and other database systems. This role involves collaborating with stakeholders to collect, analyze, and interpret data to ensure compliance with state and federal reporting requirements, improve instructional practices, and support data-driven decision-making within the district. Additionally, the Data Systems Analyst collaborates with the Data Systems Administrator and Student Data System Specialist and assists in vendor data requests.

Requirements / Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS A high school diploma or equivalent, along with four years of recent experience working with SQL (preferably within student information systems). OR, Associate degree in management information systems, computer science, information technology, or a related field and two years of recent experience working with SQL (preferably within student information systems). OR, Bachelor’s degree in management information systems, computer science, information technology, or a related field and one year of recent experience working with SQL (preferably within student information systems). Licenses and Certificates Industry certifications relevant to database management and data analysis are desirable.
