Job Summary
Purpose Statement Under the general supervision of the Director of Facilities & Planning overseas and directs maintenance operations for school district facilities, ensuring a safe, functional, and well-maintained environment for students, staff, and visitors. This role includes managing personnel, budgets, maintenance schedules, and compliance with safety regulations. Additionally, the position participates in a rotating 24/7 emergency on-call schedule to provide immediate response to urgent facility issues and district-wide emergencies.
Requirements / Qualifications
Education and Experience • High school diploma or equivalent required; additional coursework or training in facilities management, maintenance coordination, or a related field is preferred. • Minimum of six years of experience in facility maintenance, operations, or a related field, including experience with maintenance management systems. • At least four years of supervisory or leadership experience, overseeing teams of ten or more employees. This experience must include direct management or oversight of team operations. Experience working with multidisciplinary teams is preferred. Licenses and Certificates Requires a valid California driver’s license.

TESTING PROCESS:
A) Training and Experience (T&E) Evaluation = Qualifying (pass/fail)
B) Structured Interview/Performance Exercise= 100% weighting on final score
