Teaching in a self contained classroom with elementary students. The job placement could be from Kindergarten through Sixth Grade.
Requirements / Qualifications

1. California Teaching Credential required, Multiple Subjects Credential with CLAD or BCLAD. 2. Must have One of the following: a. At least 24 units in early childhood education, or childhood development, or both. b. Professional experience in a classroom setting with preschool age children comparable to the 24 units of education described in # 1 (comparability determined by the LEA) c. Child Development Teacher Permit issued by the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CTC). d. Note: any teacher who is or was assigned to teach TK, or a combination of kindergarten and TK, on or before July 1, 2015, is "grandfathered in" to teach TK without having to meet the additional unit requirement for TK teachers set forth in Education Code section 48000(g). 3. Must pass drug/physical screening and DOJ fingerprint clearance prior to approval of employment. 4. Two (2) years teaching experience preferred.
