Petaluma City Schools is seeking a passionate and dedicated educator to join our team as Dual Immersion Teacher. The ideal candidate should be committed to fostering an inclusive and equitable learning environment that supports all students in reaching their full potential. This role requires collaboration with colleagues, families, and the community to inspire a love of lifelong learning and to promote student success. Responsibilities include: - Developing and delivering engaging, standards-based curriculum. - Implementing anti-racist and culturally responsive teaching strategies. - Mentoring and engaging all students in research and creative activities. - Utilizing assessment data to inform instruction. - Working alongside school leadership to foster inclusive learning environments. Candidates should also demonstrate experience in addressing systemic barriers to student success and contribute to initiatives that foster equity and inclusion in education. All teachers are eligible for a Master's stipend of $1,700 and Ph.D. stipend of $3,000. National board certification qualifies teachers for an additional stipend of $1,700. We may accept all years of applicable service towards placement on the salary schedule. Medical, Dental and Vision Benefits at PCS cover the employee and their immediate family at a composite rate. The monthly employee contribution is the same, regardless of spouse and number of dependents. A valid California Multiple Subject teaching credential, BCLAD (Bilingual Cross-cultural, Language, and Academic Development) OR the ability to obtain BCLAD Authorization, and an English Learner credential authorization are required.

Initial contract status will be Temporary. Offer of employment is contingent upon fingerprint clearance.
