Brief Description of Position: Under the direction of the Director of Special Education, the Coordinator for Special Education will provide administrative support and supervision to Special Education programs. This position advocates for students with learning needs and ensures that Special Education programs meet the needs of the students and are compliant with relevant regulations.

Requirements / Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications: Education: Master’s Degree. Credential: In Special Education, CLAD/LDS, and Administrative Services Credential. Experience: A minimum of five (5 years successful teaching experience; two (2) years of which must be special education related. Administrative experience preferred.
