Job Summary

Job Summary

We are looking for a part-time Education Specialist/Resource teacher with a Mild/Moderate credential for the 2025-26 school year! The caseload can go as high as 14. Students are served through a resource model, meaning that they are pulled out individually or in small groups, or the teacher or instructional assistants push into the classrooms to provide support. The Education Specialist will be tasked with tracking minutes provided by the instructional assistants, developing service schedules and adjusting as needed to ensure service minutes align with IEPs. The Education Specialist will provide Specialized Academic Instruction, prepare IEPs and facilitate IEP meetings, assess academics for initials and triennials, and provide goal progress updates.

Requirements / Qualifications

Applicants must have a California Education Specialist Instruction credential with Mild/Moderate authorization, as well as an English Learner Authorization/CLAD. Fingerprint clearance with the Department of Justice and TB clearance is required prior to the commencement of employment. A complete application will include all documents below.
