Job Summary
This is a position working with our Southwest Special Education Local Plan Area (SW SELPA). Orientation and Mobility Specialists provide orientation and mobility to individuals with exceptional needs between the ages of birth to twenty-two years, who are identified as having a visual impairment.
Requirements / Qualifications
Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's Degree from an accredited College or University, Valid California Clinical or Rehabilitative Services Credential as Orientation and Mobility credential that authorizes instruction for orthopedically impaired students, an English Learner Authorization, Experience with Assistive Technology, and Valid CA drivers license. Dual credentialed in VI preferred.
