Comments and Other Information
If selected to coach, the following items will be required prior to clearance:
1) Drug Test & TB Screening within 5 business days of offer. - MVUSD will cover the cost.
2) Live Scan Fingerprinting - $69.00 made out: MVUSD (via Cashiers Check/Money Order (for California Teaching Commission cost). [This is only if you don't have a credential or 30 day permit.]
3) Attain the "Fundamentals of Coaching Certificate" through the NFHS website $50.
4) Unless you hold a valid teaching credential/or 30-Day Substitute Permit, you will need to attain an ASCC through the CTC website $102.65.
5) Valid CPR & First Aid prior to start date. CPR and First Aid Certifications must be from an American Heart Association or American Red Cross Approved, in-person course. No online certificates will be accepted. Only on-hand, skills based CPR/First Aid will be accepted.
6) Completion of Keenan Safe Schools online training modules.
7) Create Home Campus website to upload all certificates into.
