Job Summary

Under general supervision, to welcome visitors at the front desk by greeting, welcoming, and directing and announcing them appropriately; to answer, screen and forward incoming calls; to give routine information to the public; to do related work as required. • Warmly greet and welcome guests as they arrive in the office. • Multitask and prioritize. • Provide basic and accurate information via phone/email and in person. • Learn rapidly and properly apply the policies, procedures, and routines of the assigned area. • Perform a variety of clerical work and record-keeping of moderate difficulty. • Compose simple and routine correspondence as directed by supervisor. • Sort and file accurately and locate material(s) in files. • Operate a variety of standard office equipment including a computer and assigned software. • Type or input data accurately at an acceptable rate of speed. • Maintain and order various records of purchases and supplies. • Answer telephones and greet the public courteously. • Perform arithmetic calculations with speed and accuracy. • Understand and follow oral and written instructions. • Communicate effectively both orally and in writing. • Complete work with many interruptions. • Establish and maintain cooperative and effective working relationships with others. • Maintain regular and consistent attendance.

Requirements / Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS - High School Diploma or equivalent - Bilingual KNOWLEDGE OF: - Customer service skills. - Modern office methods and procedures. - Correct business English usage, vocabulary, spelling, grammar, and punctuation. - Basic business mathematics. - Proper receptionist and telephone techniques and etiquette. - Appropriate record-keeping and filing techniques. - Operation of a computer and assigned software. - Oral and written communication skills. - Excellent interpersonal skills using tact, patience and courtesy. - Professional, welcoming attitude and professional appearance.
