The Behavior Technician will: Provide support, monitoring, direct instruction, and training using applied behavior analysis techniques, intervention strategies, coping skills, and problem-solving for students with behavioral challenges. Provide a variety of clerical and supportive tasks for instructional personnel. Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements / Qualifications
TRAINING, EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: Equivalent to the completion of the twelfth grade; and either an Associate’s Degree of Arts (AA) or have completed 48 college/university semester units or pass the FUESD proficiency test for this classification; prior job-related experience with Applied Behavior Analysis working with children with autism or other developmentally delaying disorders. LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS: Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification and maintenance or obtain within the first year of employment; Maintain Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) certification as provided by the District, and Maintain CPR certification as provided by the District. This position is open to all qualified internal candidates. CURRENT FUESD EMPLOYEES: You must submit an online application, along with all required documents.
