***** DO NOT CLICK ON 'QUICK APPLY' IN EDJOIN AS WE DO NOT USE THIS FEATURE AT SDCOE ***** The San Diego County Office of Education is recruiting for two (2) Early Education Inclusion Aides for the Early Education Department of the Learning and Leadership Services Division. The Early Education Inclusion Aide supports children ages 0 – 5 with disabilities in a general education classroom setting to assist with academic, social, behavioral, and physical needs to foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment. This position is grant-funded until June 30, 2027 and works 8 hours per day, 5 days per week at 190 days per year.
Requirements / Qualifications
This position requires a combination of education and/or experience equivalent to six (6) semester units of early childhood education or child development college coursework, and two (2) years of experience working with children requiring a specialized learning environment. Experience working with children 0-5 preferred. Must meet Immunization clearance as required by Community Care Licensing (Title 22) for Early Education and Care settings including measles and pertussis vaccines.
To be considered for this position, you must individually attach the following items to your completed EDJOIN Application: • Resume, detailing education and experience as it relates to this position • Letter of Introduction (Cover Letter) • Copies of transcripts showing six (6) semester units of early childhood education or child development college coursework • Copies of any certifications you wish to be considered The results of this recruitment will be used to establish an eligibility list to fill the current vacancy and any other vacancies in this classification for the next six (6) months, or until the list is exhausted.
