Physical Requirements: While performing the duties of this position, the employee is required to consistently sit for periods of time; talk or hear, in person and by telephone; use of hands and fingers to touch, feel or operate standard office equipment including technology, and reach with hands and arms; walking level surface, stand, bend and stoop; lifting objects 1-25 pounds; carry/push 1-25 pounds; specific vision abilities required include close vision to read and enter data into a computer; ability to distinguish sounds in transmission, speaking. Mental Requirements: While performing the duties of this position, the employee may be regularly be required to use written and oral communication skills; read and interpret data, information and documents; analyze and solve problems; observe and interpret situations; learn and apply new information or skills; use math and mathematical reasoning; perform highly detailed work; work on multiple and concurrent tasks; work with frequent interruptions; work under intensive deadlines; and interact with District and program personnel, school administrators, managers, staff, vendors, the public, and others encountered in the course of work. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions in the work environment. This environment may be expected to include: moderate noise level that may occasionally be very noisy, frequent interruptions, frequent movement from inside to outside with exposure to the elements. Appointment to this position predicated upon submitting a negative TB result. In addition, the selected candidate must complete the state fingerprinting requirements and the district must receive a certificate of clearance by the California Department of Justice and Federal Bureau of Investigation. Within three (3) days of employment, all new employees shall show appropriate documents, which certify that they are legally eligible to work in the United States.
