Job Summary
Job Summary
The High School Principal serves as the instructional leader of the school working with staff to ensure that a quality education is received by all students under their care; understands the link between teaching and student learning; evaluates the progress and success of the school and its students; leads curricular and instructional development; implements instructional student support systems; participates in the district’s instructional leadership team; develops an inclusive and collaborative relationship with the community; coordinates the management functions and activities of a secondary school operation; monitors student discipline; and performs other related functions as directed.
Requirements / Qualifications
• California Administrative Services Credential (with document number) • Master's degree in Education from an accredited institution of higher learning. Doctorate preferred. • Positive and proven record of successful experience in a responsible administrative position in public schools • Teaching experience in the secondary grades. • California Driver’s License (by first day of service); • Computer skills in Microsoft Office and Google platform.
