This is a part-time position that will be assigned to the primary school for 2025-26 to work a Transitional Kindergarten classroom. Beginning Date: Friday, August 15, 2025 (this will be a welcome back staff event for all employees) Hours: 6 hrs./day - 30 hours a week M-F. Schedule is as follows: 7:45am-2:15pm or 8:00am-2:30pm (scheduled for 6.5 to include 30 minute unpaid lunch); Note: the hours could be adjusted by 15-30 min. depending on needs at the site. Qualifications: Must have completed at least two years of study at institution of high education; OR obtained and Associates Degree (or higher); OR pass an academic assessment in reading, writing and mathematics. Must have basic knowledge of reading, writing and math skills. Requires the ability to assess situations, interpret student behavior and apply appropriate measures to enforce school regulations.
