The Assessment Coordinator in charge of CAASPP testing is a valuable member of the Student Growth Team and plays a crucial role in supporting student success and fostering collaboration across school departments, staff, and families in state and local assessments. This Assessment Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the administration, implementation, and compliance of state and alternate assessments, including the California Assessment of Student Performance and Progress (CAASPP) and the alternative NWEA MAP and writing assessments, across all schools. This role ensures the smooth and efficient administration of mandated assessments in accordance with state and federal regulations while promoting high levels of participation. This Assessment Coordinator will coordinate all logistics related to CAASPP testing, train and support staff, ensure proper accommodations for students with disabilities, and maintain strict test security protocols. Additionally, the role includes clear and consistent communication to ensure the accurate sharing of CAASPP & NWEA/writing schedules, requirements, and accommodations. The Testing Coordinator will also maintain a base roster of 12 students and complete all HST duties as outlined in the HST job description.
