Elk Grove Charter School offers students a variety of educational alternatives and options for grades 7-12. The school specializes in an individual approach to instruction. This unique educational opportunity is for students who do not seek a traditional classroom approach to education. Students study core academic courses using the district’s adopted curriculum aligned to State standards and benchmarks. Students have the option to earn either a continuation high school or a comprehensive high school diploma. Provide an academic environment, in an individualized and group setting, that prepares students for success in higher education and the world of work. Develop effective written and verbal communication skills that will enable students to convey their thoughts, opinions, and feelings in a variety of situations. Foster a positive and safe climate in which all students develop understanding and empathy for multicultural contributions. Prepare students to be moral, responsible, productive citizens and workers in the 21st century.
