**You will not be considered for the position if all documents are not submitted by the deadline. Completed Classified Edjoin application - Resume - At least three Signed Letters of Reference less than one year old and one must be from immediate supervisor. (Electronic signatures are not accepted.) -Typing certificate minimum 40 net words per minute 5 minutes in duration issued within the last two years. (On-line certificates are not accepted) Must pass Secretarial/Clerical examination: Exam will be administered May 5, 2025 at 9 am. Location - 1717 W. Merced Ave., West Covina 91790. All of the required documents must be submitted with the application in order to test and be considered for the position. **This is the final notice for testing. Hours: 7:30 am - 4 pm EXAMPLES OF DUTIES: Under the direction of assigned supervisor/administrator, initiates contacts with private industry and the public sector for on-the-job training and to develop jobs for students who have completed vocational programs; provides information and training in job search skills for students; collects follow-up data on placement of students; and performs related work as assigned.

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION: Completion of formal or informal education sufficient to possess the necessary skills, knowledge, and abilities established for the position; must possess a secondary (i.e. high school) school diploma, or its equivalent (GED). Advanced education, such as an Associate (AA) degree, or education beyond an AA degree is highly desirable. Experience working with students with disabilities in an education setting is desirable LICENSES/OTHER REQUIREMENTS: Must possess of valid California Driver’s License during course of employment; must be insurable at standard rates and maintain such insurability during the course of employment. Passing score on written secretarial examination and typing of net 40 words per minute. A typing certificate must be attached with application.
