Job Summary
Job Summary
Under the direction of Deputy Superintendent, the Assistant Superintendent, Student Support Services, provides strategic leadership, oversight, and coordination of programs that support student success across the county. This position manages the overall delivery of the curriculum, student programs, and work-force preparation services; providing information and serving as a resource to others; achieving defined objectives by planning, evaluating, developing, implementing, and maintaining services in compliance with established guidelines. This position provides guidance for the College and Career Team, Teaching and Learning Team, and the Alternative Education programs, as well as managing other duties as assigned, such as the Youth Commission, Differentiated Assistance, and Yolo County Youth Civics Initiative. The incumbents in this job perform work that assists Yolo County Office of Education in achieving its mission to provide inspiration, leadership, support, and advocacy that ensure equity and access to high-quality education for all students.
