Requirements / Qualifications
REQUIREMENTS: • All district coaches, including volunteer coaches, shall have completed a coaching education program that meets the standards developed by the California Interscholastic Federation (CIF). • Applicants must also have 1st Aid and CPR certification. • Applicants must have clear TB skin test. PROFESSINAL QUALIFICATIONS: • Ability to provide leadership in volleyball program. • Ability to supervise the ongoing efforts to maintain a high quality program. • Ability to recruit and retain high quality coaches of outstanding character. • Ability to set goals and objectives for the volleyball program in a cooperative working relationship with the volleyball staff. • Ability to communicate effectively with students/athletes and their parents. • Develop and retain a high level of rapport with students, staff members, and the community.
