We are currently seeking applications for part-time instructors with a background in Special Education, Single Subjects, and/or Multiple Subjects to the following courses in the YSCTC Intern Teacher Program: EDU 230 Tier 1 Supports: PBis and Classroom Management (1 unit) EDU 250 Mathematics Instruction (1 unit) SPED 207 Functional Behavior Analysis and Behavior Support in Special Education (1 unit) SPED ESN 336 Teaching Social Interactions and Utilizing Augmentative and Alternative Communication (1 unit) EDU 313 Teaching History/Social Science and Science to Diverse Learners (1 unit) EDU 110 Pre-Service Reading and Language Arts Instructors will teach courses in the Intern Program and Pre-Service for Education Specialists and/or Multiple Subject credential candidates. Intern and Pre-Service courses will be taught in a hybrid format (online and in-person). Courses are 5 sessions long. The current schedule of courses can be found online at: https://www.yscenterforteaching.org/intern-program-schedules.html Candidates should be knowledgeable in course design, lesson planning, teaching adult learners, and competent to conduct instruction independently and without supervision. Instructors will also receive training in the Yolo-Solano Center for Teacher Credentialing learning management system and are expected to calculate and enter their own grades and attendance.
