Expanded Learning-Enrichment Supervisor- 4 hour Positions at Anaheim Elementary School District (TK-6)
Requirements / Qualifications
REQUIREMENTS FOR CONSIDERATION INCLUDE: • Graduation from high school or its equivalent • Must have an AA degree or higher or at least 48 semester units of general education or meet a rigorous standard of quality and demonstrate through an assessment, the knowledge and ability to assist instruction. • One year experience working with children in an organized setting • Possession of or ability to obtain a valid First Aid and CPR certificate. • Knowledge of Federal, state, and local laws relating to school and student safety. • Knowledge of behavior modification and conflict resolution strategies and techniques; policies, rules and regulations concerning appropriate student behavior typical playground games • Knowledge of district and school emergency procedures including fire drills, earthquakes, intruder on campus and others; basic content taught in District schools; basic instructional methods and techniques. • Ability to assist with educational-based activities in the Expanded Learning environment. • Ability to effectively exercise discretion and judgment in choosing appropriate courses of action and responding to crisis and emergency situations in a timely manner. • Ability to perform effectively and efficiently in situations requiring tact, diplomacy and good judgment. • Ability to monitor students through continuous movement and respond to situations in a quick and timely manner. • Potential exposure to blood, other bodily fluids, and children with aggressive behavior.
