Requirements / Qualifications

REQUIREMENTS FOR CONSIDERATION INCLUDE: • Any combination equivalent to: graduation from high school and two years general clerical experience. • Knowledge of basic school office practices, policies, and procedures. • Knowledge of correct English usage, grammar, spelling, punctuation and vocabulary. • Knowledge of record-keeping techniques, filing systems and information management. • Knowledge of basic first aid procedures. • Knowledge of basic financial and statistical accounting and record-keeping. • Ability to prioritize, schedule work, and meet time lines. • Ability to maintain records and prepare reports. • Ability to operate a variety of office equipment including a computer and office software. • Ability to type at 45 words per minute. Lateral Transfers – Current employees in the same job classification who are interested in a lateral transfer must submit a Request to Transfer form via email to dhernandez@aesd.org before the closing date and time.
