Compton Academy of Technology and Innovation (C-Tech) is seeking a dynamic and dedicated teacher to deliver high-quality, engaging instruction to dual-enrolled students in grades 9–12. The ideal candidate will foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment while delivering rigorous, standards-aligned instruction that prepares students for college, career, and beyond. This role includes teaching Honors and AP-level courses, attending Professional Development training, and supporting school-wide initiatives through occasional extra-duty assignments. As part of C-Tech's mission to empower students through real-world learning, the teacher will integrate industry-relevant skills and knowledge aligned with one of our Career Pathways, which include Cybersecurity, Biotechnology, Engineering, and Supply Chain Technology. The successful candidate will inspire students to achieve academic excellence while preparing them to earn both a high school diploma, associate degree and industry credentials, ensuring they are equipped to thrive in high-wage, high-demand fields.
Requirements / Qualifications
• California Single Subject Teaching Credential authorizing service in Social Science. Interns may apply; however, an intern eligibility letter from the university must be attached. • Current résumé. Important Note: Résumés will not be accepted in lieu of a completed EdJoin application. AB 2534 and the Work Experience sections must be completed. • Letter of introduction. • EL Authorization. • CSET passing status or Subject Matter Waiver Letter. • Three professional letters of recommendation from immediate supervisors, signed and dated within the past two years. • Copies of transcripts.
