Job Summary

General Statement The job of Human Resources Benefits/Leaves is to provide human resource services with specific responsibility for a wide range of technical and complex processes often of a confidential nature; processing the district’s workers’ compensation program; employee Health and Welfare benefits; employee leave requests; ensuring that employees are aware of and understand District employment policies, regulations and negotiated language; and supporting the Assistant Superintendent of Human Resources, or designee, with these functions. This job reports to the assigned Supervisor.

242 Work Days / 18 Paid Holidays 8 Hours / 5 Days Work Hours: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM District Medical/Dental/Vision Plans: MEDICAL: District pays 80% of the Kaiser Single Party Premium or 80% of Kaiser Two Party Premium for those selecting a "Two-Party" or "Family" Coverage Plan. For Employees opting out of the District Medical Plan, Cash-In Lieu is paid at 20.5% of the Kaiser Single Rate pro-rated by FTE. DENTAL: Dental Benefits through Delta Dental are not part of an open enrollment plan. Classified employees pay into a Single, Two Party, or family plan pro-rated by FTE. VISION: The District has partnered with Vision Service Plan (VSP) to provide employees with vision services. Employees may purchase VSP through Payroll Deduction. Other employment requirements: FINGERPRINTS: Any offer of employment is subject to a criminal history check. Fingerprint clearance by the Department of Justice for the School District must be received prior to employment.
