Job Summary
Visions is seeking a Career & Technical Education (CTE) and Dual Enrollment (DE) Manager to lead staff in administering, monitoring, and implementing the requirements for quality CTE and DE programs and all associated grant requirements. The CTE and DE Manager provides leadership and support for the staff and collaborates with administrators, instructional staff, and community members to assure that appropriate CTE and DE curriculum and instructional practices are occurring at Visions. The CTE and DE Manager meets with CTE teachers, DE Advisors, local, regional, and statewide members of the public involved in CTE and DE, workforce development boards, colleges, and professional learning communities to support the implementation of CTE and DE program requirements. The CTE and DE Manager has direct supervision and oversight of assigned staff. In general, this position will work a hybrid schedule of 3 days at our office in Carmichael/Gold River, CA and 2 days remotely. However, this will not begin until the employee is fully trained. Depending upon the needs of the department this schedule is subject to change. - A Bachelor's degree from an accredited university is required. - Minimum of three years of experience leading, supporting, and managing a team to meet organizational goals and objectives is highly desirable. - Relevant industry or work experience. - Previous Career and Technical Education (CTE) teaching experience, leadership experience, alternative education, and independent study school experience is desirable. - Microsoft Office and Google Workspace are preferable.
