Requirements / Qualifications
** This position is a part-time, hourly position with a flexible working schedule. The person in this position will work up to 100 hours per school year at all three of our Golden Gate Community Schools (locations in Brentwood, Pittsburg and Richmond). Benefits are not included with this position. Applicants must possess or qualify for: • Registered Nurse (RN) license • Possession of a School Nurse Credential • OR the ability to meet the criteria to apply for the Preliminary School Nurse Services Credential (BA Degree, RN License, and willingness to enroll and complete a School Nurse Credential program within 5 years) • Valid Basic Life Support (BLS)/CPR Certificate • Valid Basic First Aid Certificate • Valid California Driver’s License • Pediatric Nursing experience (preferred) • Training and/or experience working in an educational setting (preferred) Please include the following with your EDJOIN application. • Current Resume • Current Letter of Introduction • Current Letter of Recommendation • Current copy of RN license • Copy of credential(s), if applicable • Copy of transcript(s) The Human Resources Department of the Contra Costa County Office of Education will make reasonable efforts in recruitment and examination process to accommodate applicants with disabilities.
