The Administrative Assistant plays a crucial role in supporting the Workforce Recovery Training Program (WRTP) by ensuring smooth office operations, maintaining records, assisting in applicant intake and scheduling, and coordinating documentation required for the CDBG-DR grant. This position serves as the first point of contact for program participants and stakeholders, providing information, collecting data, and facilitating program entry and compliance with grant requirements. The ideal candidate is empathetic, approachable, and excellent at working with people from diverse backgrounds. This role requires strong communication skills, patience, professionalism, and the ability to create a welcoming environment for participants who may be facing barriers to employment.
