Job Summary

Job Summary

The San Diego County Office of Education is recruiting for a Coordinator, Instruction and Curriculum Content for the Curriculum and Instruction department of the Learning and Leadership division. The job of Coordinator, Instruction and Curriculum Content is done for the purpose of coordinating the research, development, implementation, and assessment of professional learning, instructional guidance, tools, and resources related to a specific content area, that supports schools and districts to implement high quality, standard-based teaching and learning. The San Diego County Office of Education (SDCOE) is committed to helping educators countywide build capacity and confidence so they can provide high-quality, evidence-based instructional and assessment practices which meet the needs of all students. This position will have a focus in "Elementary Mathematics".

Requirements / Qualifications

This position requires the following:
 
Education and Experience:
Education:    Master’s degree in education, educational leadership, or closely related field; and,
Experience: Four (4) years of increasingly responsible experience conducting professional learning activities, collaborative projects implementation, and program evaluation and assessment;
-- OR --
Equivalency: A combination of education and experience equivalent to a master’s degree in education, educational leadership, or related field; and four (4) years of increasingly responsible experience conducting professional learning activities, collaborative projects implementation, and assessment.
 
Certificates, Licenses, and Credentials:
  • Valid CA Administrative Services Credential
  • Valid CA Teaching Credential
  • Valid CA Driver’s License

  • Two (2) Letters of Recommendation dated within the last year
