Job Summary

The Superintendent/Principal position begins July 1, 2025. The Board of Trustees at LUHSD is seeking a collaborative leader who can build on district strengths while developing a vision for the district's future. Individuals with a strong educational leadership background and excellent communication skills are invited to apply. Job Summary: The Superintendent/Principal is directly responsible to the Governing Board, serves as Chief Executive of the Board, and supervises all District operations in accordance with Board policies. Although the Superintendent/Principal may delegate appropriate powers and duties so that operational decisions can be made at various administrative levels, he/she is responsible for the execution of these powers and duties and will establish administrative regulations as needed to manage the District. To be considered for hire, candidates must meet the minimum requirements including a successful interview and reference checks. During the process, reference checks will be made to those individuals having knowledge of the candidate's professional performance.
