Requirements / Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Experience and Education: • Approved Marine Instructor Certificate/Designated Subjects ROTC Credential. Knowledge and Abilities: • JROTC program policies and regulations. • Identify pupil needs, and cooperate with other professional staff members in assessing and helping pupils solve health, attitude, and learning problems.

A complete application file consists of: • A completed certificated EDJOIN application; • Approved JROTC Marine Instructor Certificate/Designated Subjects ROTC Credential; • Letter of Introduction; • An up-to-date resume; • Three letters of recommendation (from three different individuals) that are dated and signed within the last 2 years; • Possession of/eligible for a Designated Subjects ROTC Credential; • Proof of EL Authorization or eligibility documents for EL Waiver. • Proof of JROTC Instructor Certification from the Department of the Marines; • Proof of Marine Officer Commission Applicants must meet minimum qualifications and provide all necessary materials on-line prior to the stated deadline in order to qualify as a candidate.
