Job Summary
Job Summary
ACOE’s Opportunity Academy School will serve students ages 16 and older who have previously separated from school or have been unsuccessful in school. ACOE Community Schools include Quest Academy and Parenting Teen Programs. ACOE's Opportunity Academy and Community Schools are located at various sites in Oakland, Hayward and San Leandro. The Resource Teacher will serve students at a variety of SPaS schools programs and locations, depending on assigned caseload. Current caseload includes students at Opportunity Academy, Fruitvale Academy, Burke Academy, and Quest Academy. Student caseload and locations served will be subject to change based on enrollment and programmatic need. First screening: April 10, 2025
Requirements / Qualifications
? Education Specialist Instruction Credential (required) ? CPR and First Aid certificate (required) ? Compliant in at least two secondary content areas (preferred) ? EL/CLAD Authorization ? Valid California driver’s license, reliable transportation, and an acceptable driving record
Required Documents: Letter of Introduction (Please address your specific competencies for the position) Resume with detailed employment background and education. One reference must be from a past or present supervisor. Credential Copy (Valid CLEAR California K-12 Teaching Credential.)
