
Short-term Instructional Aide (one on one support) at Gridley Unified School District
Requirements / Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications: 1. Graduate from high school or equivalent; 48 units of college level coursework; AA Degree or Certificate of Completion for NCLB requirements. 2. Ability to read, write and speak at a level sufficient to fulfill the assigned duties. 3. Ability to communicate with and effectively supervise students. 4. Ability to accept directions and carry out oral and written instructions. 5. Ability to maintain a cooperative working relationship with others. Brief Description of Position: 1. Responsible to assist in preparing and supervising pupil work areas. 2. Responsible to assist individual or small groups with assigned activities. 3. Responsible to assist in checking papers and preparing instructional materials. 4. Responsible to perform such other related duties and clerical work as may be assigned by the principal. 5. Enforces the school rules concerning proper behavior of students. 6. Maintains a firm but respectful and courteous attitude toward students. 7. Specific position information: The assignment will be to assist a student on a modified day schedule to implement intensive behavior program (BIP). This assignment is time-card basis only.
