Monte Rio Union School District is seeking a visionary and inspiring educational leader with superior interpersonal and communication skills who will demonstrate an open, collaborative, and inclusive management style. The new Principal will be highly visible and active in classrooms, on campus interacting with students, and engaged with the parent community. Monte Rio School District is a small, one school TK-8 (67 students ) district nestled among redwoods in the beautiful Russian River Valley in Sonoma County. Classes are combined TK-K, 1-2, 3-4, 5-6, 7-8, with fully qualified teachers and a classroom aide in each class. Monte Rio Union School provides a safe and nurturing environment where all students are given the skills, opportunity, and encouragement to prepare for a successful future as critical and creative thinkers, productive citizens and lifelong learners.
