Job Summary

Job Summary

The San Diego County Office of Education is recruiting to fill three (3) vacancies for a Program Clerk for the Early Education Department of the Learning and Leadership Division. Under general supervision, the Program Clerk performs specialized clerical duties, of a difficult and complex nature, in support of an SDCOE Program by monitoring support and reporting functions. Two (2) of the three current vacancies will require bilingual proficiency in Spanish. ABOUT EARLY EDUCATION Our mission is to provide early intervention, professional development, and foster leadership to ensure every child has equitable access to high-quality early education by supporting the individual needs of children, families, and early learning and care settings that result in sustainable changes.

Requirements / Qualifications

This position requires training and experience which would clearly demonstrate possession of the knowledge and abilities listed in the job description. An example of a typical qualifying background would include: three years of work experience in an office support role involving the use of computer spreadsheet applications to maintain records and prepare complex reports.
