The Chawanakee Unified School District is within a 30-minute drive of Fresno, Madera, and Merced. We are located in Eastern Madera County, extending from the floor of the San Joaquin Valley to the crest of the Sierra Nevada Mountains, including a significant amount of territory in the Sierra National Forest. The district encompasses the communities of North Fork, O’Neals, Tesoro Viejo, and Millerton Preserve. Job Summary
Minarets High School is seeking a full time Social Science Teacher. Minarets High School integrates their charter students into the comprehensive classrooms for a seamless combination of a diverse student body. The school focuses on Rigor, Relevance, Relationships, and Resiliency through a project based learning environment. One to one computing allows for a wide variety of differentiation and individualization to provide high levels of student engagement. Start Date: August 11, 2025 Hours: Monday-Friday; 7.5 hrs./day; 8:30am-4:00pm

BA Degree and valid California Single Subject Social Science Credential. Upon hire must clear fingerprint scan, submit proof of negative TB and CPR/AED/First Aid certification.
