COMPANY: Los Angeles Unified School District POSITION: Deputy Controller SALARY DETAILS $181,220.00-225,760.00/ yearly APPLICATION FILING DATES March 4, 2025- open until our hiring needs are met BENEFITS LAUSD offers a comprehensive benefits package which includes: Insurance: District-paid premiums for your choice of several medical, dental, and vision for you and your dependents; and life insurance plans. Retirement: Membership in the California Public Employee Retirement System (CalPERS). Vacation: 24 days each year. Paid Holidays: Up to 13 days. THIS RECRUITMENT The Office of the Chief Financial Officer partners with all other Los Angeles Unified School District groups to support the Districts academic objectives while maintaining the appropriate fiduciary roles expected by the District's taxpayers. A Deputy Controller assists in the management of the Accounting and Disbursement Division and acts for the Controller as required. This is a 40 hours per week, 12- month management position. The Deputy Controller receives administrative direction from the Controller and exercises general direction over branch directors and lower-level management personnel.
