SCOE does not provide substitutes for the following districts: Modesto City, Ceres Unified, Oakdale Joint Unified, Roberts Ferry Union, Sylvan Union, Turlock Unified and Waterford Unified.

Job Summary

Provides large and small group instruction in all subjects in regular teacher's absence; develops classroom lesson plans or follows lesson plans provided by teacher in his/her absence; maintains standard pupil behavior; maintains suitable class control and provides an orderly learning environment; performs other related duties as assigned by the school principal.
