Job Summary

Under the direction of the assigned administrator and under the general oversight of a teacher and/or other certificated employee, the Paraprofessional III provides instructional/behavioral support to students in accomplishing learning objectives. The position works with students with severe behavioral, physical, language, or learning handicaps. The Paraprofessional III provides specific life-skill/instructional supports to students in areas of need, including but not limited to, work training, public transit, community-based instruction, and independent living skills.
