Job Summary

Job Summary

The San Diego County Office of Education is recruiting for a Web Developer/Programmer for the Enterprise Applications unit of the Integrated Technology Services division. Under general supervision, the Web Developer/Programmer performs programming development, implementation and updates to new and current online applications, and develops and implements a usability testing process to ensure new web applications meet requirements. About Enterprise Applications SDCOE offers solutions to help transform your business processes, including the design and development of web-based applications, mobile apps, custom software, automation, APIs, and Business Intelligence dashboards. We offer consulting services to assist with data management. SDCOE's Enterprise Applications team is also responsible for PeopleSoft system administration, development. and testing.

Requirements / Qualifications

This position requires a combination of education, training and/or experience that clearly demonstrates possession of the knowledge and abilities listed in the job description. A typical qualifying background would include: a combination of education and/or experience equivalent to completion of college-level coursework and two (2) years of job-related experience in web design and development using Microsoft Web Development tools and programming languages. Possession of a bachelor’s degree in the fields listed above may be considered as fulfillment of the work experience requirement.
