Job Summary
Under the direction of the Assistant Superintendent, Human Resources and/or the Director, Classified Personnel, performs gradually increasing responsible and independent technical personnel work. The Human Resources Specialist also conducts surveys, analyzes data, takes meeting minutes, and prepares a wide variety of reports summarizing results in electronic format.
Requirements / Qualifications
2425-48 (Dual-Merged) An examination will be given to establish an eligibility list for the position of Human Resources Specialist in order to fill one current vacancy. The eligibility list will be effective for 6 months. This position is 8 hours per day, 260 paid days per year. APPLICATION PROCEDURE: Completed online applications must be received by 4:30 p.m. on the closing date. Resumes will not be accepted in lieu of a completed application or supplemental questions; however, applicants may submit resumes along with the completed online application. The examination process may include one or more of the following: scoring of supplemental questions, written exam, performance and/or technical oral examination. An examination will be given to establish an eligibility list for the position of Human Resources Technician in order to fill current and future vacancies. This position is 8 hours per day, 260 paid days per year. The eligibility list will be valid for six (6) months. APPLICATION PROCEDURE: A completed application for employment must be received in Personnel Commission by 4:30 p.m. on the closing date. The examination process may include one or more of the following: scoring of application and resume, written examination, scoring of supplemental questions, performance and/or technical oral examination.
