Job Summary

The Chief Technology Officer reports directly to the Superintendent and is a key member of the district leadership team. The Chief Technology Officer is responsible for overseeing the district’s technology strategy and operations, ensuring the effective and secure use of technology to support educational and administrative goals. As a strategic and operational leader, a member of the superintendent’s cabinet, the Chief Technology Officer leads four main teams: Enterprise Systems, IT Support Services, Programming and Application Support, and Information Security. The Chief Technology Officer ensures the delivery of exceptional technical support services, fosters a culture of excellence and continuous improvement, and aligns technology initiatives with the district’s goals. This role involves strategic planning, resource management, collaboration with various stakeholders, and overseeing state and federal reporting requirements.
