Requirements / Qualifications

Possess or be eligible for CA Education Specialist Mild/Mod or Mild/Mod Support Needs or Extensive Support Needs with EL Authorization or a CLAD. Interns eligible for Education Specialist with one or both authorizations will be considered. Previous teaching experience and/or training with students with a variety of disabilities, learning, behavioral, and emotional needs is helpful. Applicants must be skilled in collaboration and consultation. Knowledge and understanding of the proper way to write an IEP. Knowledge of the Siras program is helpful.

Along with the application, please submit a cover letter addressed to Susan Salucci, Assistant Superintendent of Human Resources. Current Resume Three (3) Current Letters of Recommendation Three (3) Personal References with contact information (different than the letters of recommendation) Copy of College Transcript(s) Copy of Current Credential(s)
