Summary: The school community is seeking an Instructional Aide to assist an intermediate level grade classroom teacher in the instructional process for the school year. Responsibilities include reinforcing and supporting instruction to individual or small groups of students in a classroom environment, assisting in the preparation of instructional materials and implementation of lesson plans, correcting papers, doing lunch and/or recess duty, and performing other duties as assigned by the principal and homeroom teacher. Candidates are encouraged to have: ? Reflect the Catholic values taught at Holy Name School ? Bachelor’s degree, or work in progress toward one is preferred ? Teaching Aide experience with children ? Classroom management skills ? Exemplary professionalism, flexibility, empathy and care in collaboration with colleagues ? Ability to utilize technology in a classroom environment ?
