Job Summary
BASIC FUNCTION: Under the direction of an assigned supervisor, perform a variety of complex accounting duties related to State, Federal and Local regulations, GASB and GAAP. Complete complex statistical data analysis, prepares State and departmental reports detailing results; develop and utilize analytical tools and models for the analysis of accounting data. Provide training and work direction to assigned staff.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: Any combination equivalent to a bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or management or related field, two years experience in related accounting work and experience with advanced techniques in the use of computerized spreadsheets. SPECIAL NOTE: If a combination of education and experience is used to satisfy the education/experience requirements, a copy of college-level transcripts must accompany your application. ADDITIONAL DOCUMENTS: The following documents are not required at the time of application but will be required of the selected applicant prior to employment: Department of Justice Fingerprint clearance, Tuberculosis Skin Test clearance & Pre-Employment Physical/Drug Screen clearance.
