BASIC FUNCTION: Under the direction of an assigned Director I, Supervisor, Coordinator or Manager, perform a variety of secretarial support functions in an assigned departmental office; relieve the supervisor of administrative details; organize and coordinate office activities and coordinate the flow of communications.

EDJOIN Classified Application SCOE Administrative Assistant I Test certificate or a higher level SCOE clerical certificate (must be attached to the application) EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Any combination equivalent to: graduation from high school and two years of increasingly responsible secretarial experience. College-level course work in business office management, secretarial science or related field desirable. LICENSES AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS: May travel to various locations to conduct work. ADDITIONAL DOCUMENTS: The following documents are not required at the time of application but will be required of the selected applicant prior to employment. • DOJ Fingerprint clearance • TB Test clearance • Pre-Employment Drug Screen clearance
