Job Summary
Under the direction of the Director of Student Support & Special Education, the School Nurse will provide Special Education Health and Develop Assessments and assist the IEP and General Education teams in the development and oversight of Health Plans to students enrolled in the Charter Schools programs. The School Nurse will conduct all state mandated student health screenings and serve as a member of the Charter School’s Special Education and 504 teams and will collaborate as well as consult with team members. As an employee of the Charter School, the Special Education Nurse will follow the responsibilities and procedures as delineated in the Charter School Personnel Handbook.
