Job Summary
Job Summary
To develop in each student an understanding of the relationship of good body function and exercise; to motivate each student to cultivate physical fitness, hygienic habits, and good social and emotional adjustment; to discover and develop talents of students in physical achievement; to develop strength, skill, agility, poise, and coordination in individual, dual, and team physical activities and sports, in accordance with each student’s ability.
Requirements / Qualifications
Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree Possess a valid California Teaching Credential Experience working with children Passion for working with a socio-economically, culturally and racially diverse community of students Ability to work in collaboration with other staff and faculty members Ability to show empathy, compassion and patience to students. DOJ Background Check and TB Test
Candidates must possess a valid California teaching credential, or be on track to have a credential by the start of the 2025-26 school year.
