Job Summary

Job Summary

Under the direction of the Director of Student Support Services and the Director of Innovation and Student Success, this unique split-role position combines the expertise of a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) and the administrative and analytical responsibilities of a Program Specialist. The SLP duties focus on assessing, diagnosing, and treating speech, language, and communication disorders in students and special education compliance. The Program Specialist responsibilities support both directors in managing assessments, analyzing data, tracking grants, medical billing, and other related administrative tasks of the two departments. While not an administrative position, the Program Specialist is out of the classroom as a teacher/specialist on special assignment, with administrative responsibilities (not to include employee supervisory roles).
