Job Summary
Under the direction of the Moorpark High School Principal in conjunction with the MHS Athletic Director, the Moorpark High School Varsity Head Football Coach is responsible for coaching student athletes in game strategies and techniques to prepare them for athletic competition and motivates them to develop an appreciation for the sport. The Varsity Head Football Coach organizes all aspects of the football program to which they are assigned, fostering a positive and rewarding experience for all student athletes of the school. The coach is expected to lead by example, demonstrate integrity, sportsmanship, and a commitment to the personal and athletic growth of each student athlete. The program is to be conducted in alignment with the District’s mission, vision, and values that supports the holistic development of students and reflects the District’s dedication to academic excellence, character building, and inclusivity.

Current employees working in a different job classification and desiring to make application for a vacant position should complete and submit an Application for Classified Employment to the Personnel Office prior to the posted deadline. An employee requesting to transfer from one work site to another work site in the same job classification, must complete and submit a classified Request for Transfer to the Personnel Office prior to the deadline.
